Rita di Leo

RITA di LEO, Professor of International Relations, University Of Rome Sapienza. is the Director of the Osservatorio geopolitico sulle élite contemporanee/Centro Riforma Stato in Rome.

She has been the Director of the Department of the Political Sciences, University of Naples Orientale, where she former taught and where she was the Editor of the Department Journal I Quaderni and the Department Publishing Series. She founded and directed the Master The International Economic Development, Stoà Business School, Ercolano-Naples.
Her international activities include lectures and seminars at Yale University, Duke University, Cambridge University, Glasgow University, Wurzburg University, Moscow IMEMO Institute, Moscow Gosudarstvo I Pravo Institute, Budapest University, Warsaw University. Visiting Professor, Harvard Russian Centre, Harvard University; Visiting Professor; M.I.T., Cambridge, Mass; Research Fellow, Harvard Center for European Studies.
She has published books, journal articles and newspaper columns in area studies including Soviet Union and Russia, East European Countries, United States.

She is currently working at a research on the rule of the contemporary élite.
